Monday, March 6, was a day of tension. -Yes, thal was the day for the finals of the intra-mural tournament.
Who would win? Juniors or Seniors?
Why, it’s simple! They split!
The senior girls fought hard to keep their lead with the Juniors. The game ended; Seniors 27; Juniors 17.
Gladys Reid, captain of the winning team, proudly received the trophy for the seniors.
The boys’ game was rough and tough, from the very beginning. It was man to man through to the finish. First one team would score arid then the other would tie it up—back and forth. But the Juniors got an extra spurt of energy and came out victorious, 29-24.
Now we’re looking forward to the spring season with baseball and softball.
