What Manner of Man
To have better schools is ostensibly the desire of our Rappahannock citizenry. To have better schools is going to tax our citizenTy, •which must decide if it is •willing to pay the price. By paying, we do not mean necessarily the payment of money. Other considerations are more important; for gold cannot ever compensate for flagrant deficiencies in the thinking of our adult citizens about the ^tal question of educating our future citizens.
