Jonas Jenkins, Washington, after seeing the movie “All the Things We Wanted’’ on grassland farming recently shown at SperrjAille, Washington, and Flint Hill is planning to seed around six acres to Ladino Clover—orchard grass pasture, this month. Mr. Jenkins also indicated he would try to get two other fields in Ladino Orchard glass pasture, one a year for the next two years. In other words, by 1952 Mr. Jenkins will have three lush pastures surrounding a permanent pasture which will serve as a working pasture to be used in shifting his cows from one ladino pasture to the other and to feed on during the winter months.

A soil sample has also been sent in for analysis from Greenfield, the farm of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Lewis of Washington, preparatory to intelligent planning in connection with an orchard grass Ladino seeding. Herbert Foster also had samples of soil sgnt in preparatory to putting two fields in corn, one on the Haddox farm and the other on the Turner farm involving a total of fifty acres.
