While at Ivory Atkins’ place, near Flint Hill, yesterday his son asked,'can I join the 4-H club. Glen Updike, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Updike, , who passed his tenth birthday, the minimum age for 4-H members, on January 6, has also applied for membership and wants to enroll in the poultry project.

Four-H Club pins, sweat shirts, and T shirts are proving popular according to orders being made. Chib members who have completed one year's work may purchase a bronze pin, those having completed two year’s ... a sterling sliver pin, while three year completors get a gold pin. A deposit of 12c and 33c is required on the bronze and silver pins, while the gold pins are given to those earning them. Members eligible forjrold pins will be announced shortly.
