Scheduled May 31
The graduating1 class of Sperryville High School will hold its class night exercises on Tuesday, May 23, and the graduation exercises will be held Wednesday, May 31.
The baccalaureate sermon will be delivered by Rev. Norman J. Flythe of Flint Hill on Sunday, May 28, at 8 p.m. ' Members of the graduating class are George^ Butler, Harry Trescott, Carolyn Jenkins, Joan Kelly Aylor, and Jean Brown.
Children’s Choir Sang
For Mother’s Day Service
The newly organized children’s choir of Sperryville rendered a very successful Mother’s Day program of special music at the morning service at Reynolds Memorial Baptist church Sunday.,
This was thjB first public appearance made by the choir since its organization five months ago.
Members of the choir who participated in the service were Jean Clater, Peggy Clater, Jean Brown, Juanita Dodson, Betty Johnson, Kenneth Clater, Janet Atkins, Judy Hawkins, Dollie Anne Williams, Charlotte Atkins, Lucille Atkins, Donald Gore, Alice Dodson, and Lou Dodson. Mrs.sC. E. Johnson, Jr., is choir accompanist.
The choir iwill meet Tuesday, May 23, at the church, for a party. Each member of the choir is invited to bring a guest. This will be the concluding meeting of the season until school session opens in the falL
