TO ALL PROPERTY OWNERS AND CITIZENS OF RAPPAHANNOCK COUNTY:
You are cordially invited to attend a meeting in Sperryv'ille High School auditorium Wednesday, May 24, at 8 o'clock p.m.
This meeting is for the purpose of discussing fire fighting and protective measures throughout the county and for the purpose of accepting plans and suggestions from property owners and citizens as to the method in which fire companies should be organized and conducted.
All volunteer fire companies are for the benefit of property owners and are a community interest. Those persons who serve as volunteers are not paid but are performing services to assist their fellow citizens, hence it is extremely important that everyone attend . and co-operate in this worthwhile movement.
