Miss Jo Ellen Worth mss guest soloist at a woman’s club meeting held in Culpeper Monday evening.

Miss Josie Millan of the Epiphany Church Home in Washington, D. C., is visiting her sister, Mrs. W. M. Stuart for several days this week.

Dr. and Mrs. J. W. Clark of Martinsville, and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Marshall of Fairfax, were Sunday guests of Mrs. J. W. Clark and family. •

Mr. and Mrs. Russell Hackley moved to their new home near Amissville last Friday.

Miss Lena May Green of Harrisonburg and Mr. and Mrs. Dick * Sandwiek and daughter of Elkton spent Sanday with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Green at Amissville.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Weaver, who spent the past two weeks in Flint, Michigan, returned to the home in Sperry\ille.

Llewelyn Tapp of Arlington has been visiting Mrs. E. A. Tapp and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Tapp, at Amissville.

Miss Becky Rutherford and Earl Stamer of Washington, D. C., were week-end guests of the former’s paients, Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Rutherford.

Mrs. Charlie Compton, who has been ill at her home at Amissville, is much improved in health.

Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Pillar of Norfolk, spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Hening, and inspected the new home they are building in Jenkins Hollow. Mr. and Mrs. V. Racine of Washington, D. C., who have joined in the purchase of the property, Were also here to visit with the Pillars.
