An .additional ninety-five head of those proven-to-be-desirable Montana yearling ewes were purchased co-operatively last week by Rappahannock citizens bringing the total number of head imported in the past two seasons to 820. Persons receiving ewes in the recent shipment were: J. E. Pauzie, Woodville, 15 head; H. L. Manwaring, Falls Church, whose farm is located near Rock Mills, 10 head; Windsor Lodge Farm, Huntly, 10 head; Allen D. Johnson, Sperryville, 15 head; I. L. Parrish, Estes, 19 head; Earl Yancey, Viewtown, 15 head. The following 4-H members also obtained five ewes: Jack Sisk, son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Sisk; Donald Gore, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Gore; Francis Bruce, son of Mrs. Helen B. Bruce, and Jonas Alther, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Alther (all of Sperryville). All of the£e boys with the exception of Jonas Alther, who is a 4-H member-at-large, are members of the Sperryville 4-H club. Jonas already had eleven native ewes and plans to retain eight early ewe lambs which will increase his sheep project to twentythree head. Jonas is also being
