Chester Gap H.D. club will meet at the home of Mrs. Marie Williams, May 23rd, at 7:30-p.m. 'There will be a Foods Leader Training meeting May 24th, starting at 1:30 p.m. This meeting will be held at the Washington Fire House.
Slate Mills H.D. club will meet at the home of Mrs. Carter White May 24th, at 7:30 p.m. The program will be on “Recreation.”
There will be a 4-H Clothing Leader Training meeting May 25, starting at 10:00 a.m. This meeting will be held at the Washington" Fire House. Each leader is asked to bring a lunch. The meeting will adjourn ^shortly after lunch.
Fodder Stack H. D. club will meet at the home of Mrs. Smoot, May 26, at 2:00 p.m The demonstration will be on “The Basic ■Recipe.”
There will be a County Fair Association meeting May 26th, at 8:00 p.m. This meeting will be held at the Agricultural Building
of the Washington High School. ^ All interested persons in the county are invited to attend this meeting. We need your help to have a successful “County Fair.”

Mrs. Henry Mills entertained the' Huntly Home Demonstration Club May 9. Business was carried on first, conducted by the president of the club, Mrs. Lewis Harrison, Mrs. Minnie Fox, program development leader of the club gave some excellent out look material which can be expertly. used by the club in July to make up their 1951 program. The club discussed the school party which. they\ r along with the Chester Gap dub, , are giving for the Reager children. Mrs. Lewis Harrison gave a very excellent account of the District meeting, held in Fairfax May 2. Then the agent, along with the Recreation chairman, Mrs. Pearl Mills, conducted all types of games that can be played at parties. This will be a great help for f He gamg ~huur~ at~ the party— at the Reager school. The meeting was topped off with the serving of delicious ice cream and cake by the hostess.
The Amissville Home Demonstration club met at the home of Mrs. A. C, Latham May 10. Mrs. Joe Hitt* president of the club, conducted the meeting. Mrs. A. C. Latham gave some outlook material to the club and also some “Garden” information. Then a program was conducted on “Recreation” by the agent and Mrs. Sarah Latham. A good time was had by the entire group.
A meeting was he}d by the F.T. Valley Home Demonstration club at the home of Mrs. Mabel Gore and Mrs. Helen Bruce, May 11. Considerable business was taken up at this meeting, conducted by the president Mrs. John ReVercomb. A Food's Leader Training ’ meeting was announced by the agent on May 24th, also the agent gave a report of the District Home Demonstration meeting at Fairfax. The club decided to have a party for the Belle Meade school May 29th. Mrs. Mary Brown, the recreation leader of the club conducted an excellent program of games, which were enjoyed by all. The club decided to sponsor a Stanley Brush party sometime in June. The two hostesses then served a delicious plate—every one present enjoyed this so very much.
