The Vacation Bible School held at Amissville Baptist church from t June 10-23 iwas a .success. The •joint school was for the children of Amissville Baptist and Methodist, and the Forest Grove Baptist churches. There were 107 enrolled during the weel{.. On .Friday morning, a number of parents were present for the special program.
Those serving on the faculty were Mrs. Walters, Mrs. Ralph Rowzie, Mrs. Jack Yowell, Miss Lena Mae Green, Mrs. Pullen, Mrs. Katherine Riley, Mrs. Sarah Jenkins, Rev. August Ernst, Mrs. Dorothy Hackley, Rev. .Norman J. Flythe, Miss Lucy Mae Smith, and Rev. and Mis. M. E. Sliger. ; v' Average daily attendance Was 130 students. Offering taken for CARE packages came to $18.57. -
