The Flint Hill Sunday School held their annual picnic at Hawks, ville Saturday. The 40 people attending enjoyed eating, swimming and playing softball.
Mr. and Mrs. E. S, Wagner and family will leave Sunday for Ithaca, N.Y., where Mr. Wagner will attend summer school for six weeks at Cornell University.
The intermediate Bible School class of the Amissville Baptist church is sponsoring a series of community singing meetings asr a continuation of their Bible study, each Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. August Ernest will conduct these classes.
Mrs. J. P. Snead and Mrs. B. F. Miller were luncheon guests Tuesday of Mrs. George Taylor and Mrs. J. W. McClaskey.
