Orleans Team Sunday
The Flint Hill A.C. baseball team is reorganizing under the management of Paul Bennett and Da\id Foster, Junior Hawkins of Washington, is the pitcher. The first game will be played at Flint Hill Sunday, June 25, at 2 o’clock against Orleans.
Sheehan—Corbin
The wedding of Miss Mattie Antoinette Corbin, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas L. Corbin of Rappaahnnock, and M/Sgt. Cornelius F. Sheehan of New York, was solemnized Sunday afternoon, June 25, at 5:30 at the home of the bride’s uncle J.. H. Ashby in Washington, D.C.

!own of embroidered pink organy, and she wore a finger tip veil tfhich fell from a small hat of flowers. She carried a white prayer book topped with an orchid.
Miss Betty E. Corbin, sister of the bride was her only attendant. She was gowned in a dress of embroidered blue organdy and carried a nosegay of gardenias.
Sgt. Sheehan had as his best man, Frank B. Corbin, brother of the bride. -Following the reception Sgt. and Mrs. Sheehan left for a wedding trip to Niagara Falls and the home of the bridegroom’s parents in New York.
Mrs. Corbin is a graduate of the Washington High School and is employed as a nurse at the Physicians’ Hospital in Warjrenton.
Bridge Supper At “Erin”
Mrs. R. E. Wood entertained at a bridge supper Tuesday evening at “Erin” near Sperryville.
Mrs. H. C. Warwick won high score prize, Mrs. Earl Edmonds, second highest, Mrs. B. M. Miller, traveling prize, and consolation prize -was received by Mrs. Frances Bradford.
