The active and honorary pall, bearers were members of the American Legion post of which Mr. Brent was a member.
Surviving are his. wife, Mrs. Mattie D. Brent, and three daughters, Mrs. Pearl T. Clark, Mrs. Mildred Eldridge, of Washington, D. C., and Miss Hilda V. Brent of Amissville; and two sons, Bernard B. Brent and Charles Brent of Washingotn, D. C.
Also surviving are his mother Mrs. Lewis Brent and fopr brothers and one sister, Alton Brent and George Brent of Washington,
C.i Clarence BrenT of Culpeper, and Spence Brent of Rochester, N. Y., and Mrs. Bernice Brent of Amissville.
