Sunday. July 2, at the Luray inging Tower, at 7 p.m. The first program will present Dr. L. Ralph Tabor, pastor of Luther “Place Memorial church, Washing* ton, D. C., as guest speaker, and the Cantabile Choir of Winches* ter. These services will be held each Sunday evening through September 3. Each program will open with music <on the bells by Carollonneur Charles T. Charman. Carillon recitals will follow each of the Sunset Vespers.
Benefit Carnival at
“Meadow Brook Hall”
Anyone having any articles to donate to the auction at the benefit carnival to be held at “Meadow Brook Hall’' is asked to contact Mrs. William P. Slaughter. The carnival, for the benefit of Warren Memorial hospital, is to be held Wednesday, July 12.

The Boy Scout troop of Flint Bill will hold a court of honor at Flint Hill Methodist church Saturday, July 1, at 7:30 p.rt». A number of awards will be made to scout members at this time.
Unpaid Taxes Collected

The following statement has been issued from the office of County Treasurer, R. L. Brown:
On Saturday, July 1, %ll unpaid state taxes will be turned over to the state for collection, and the taxes will have to be paid into Richmond.
This is a new law that was passed by the last legislature.
Celebrates 81st Birthday
Mrs. Mark Weaver celebrated1' her 81st birthday anniversary at a party given Sunday at the home of Silas Weaver in Remington. Attending the party were about 100 friends and relatives, including children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
