The New P.T. Valley H. D. Club organized last week ''at thetir monthly meeting. Mrs. Luther Jenkins, Jr., was elected as president of the club. Miss Annie, Perry, vice president of the club and Mrs. Marshall Jenkins, secretary and treasures. A demonstration on “Candy Making” was given to the group by Mrs. Jessie Rowzie, ‘aided . by the agent. Mrs. Rowzie always makes most delicious candy. The group was very pleased to have her with them at this meeting, The hostess Mrs. Roy Sisk served most delicious refreshments. This club will meet with Mrs. Sidney Perry in September, and haVe as their demonstration “Cheese Making.”
The Castleton H.D. Club held a community picnic August 23,'in the field next to the Castleton . store. Around 65 men, women and children of the Castleton community attended this picnic. Games of all description were played and conducted by the recreation leader, Elsie Courtney and the agent.
