Charlie J. Latham
' Funeral services for Charlie James Latham, who died Friday, August 25, at the Naval hospital, Bethesda, Md., were held Saturday afternoon from Amissville" Baptist church with the pastor, Rev. M. E. Sliger, conducting the last rites. Interment was in the Amissville cemetery beside his father, J. W. Latham, who died in the early spring.
Mr. Latham, 45, was a veteran of World War II. He owned and operated an electrical business in Amiss\ille, and was a member of Washington Masonic Lodge, No. 78, AF&AM, raised to a master mason on November 9, 1927. He was an active member and trustee of Amissville Baptist, church.
Besides his mother, Mrs. Annie Corbin Latham, he is survived by a foster brother, Charles A. Hazen, of Hyattsville, Md.
Pallbearers were William By, waters, Landon Luttrell, Everett Stover, Jack Yowell, and Ralph Rowzie. Honorary pallbearers iacluded Sgt.
