This seems to ring a familiar note—in fact, it has appeared before in the paper, but some people still- don’t understand why all the “News Notes” of the county are put into one group instead of being separated into each communis
The purpose is quite obvious. The county is now a community. A few years back each community stuck more to itself, but that is no longer true. There was a day when a trip to see a neighbor in the other end of the county was • task, but a drive now from one end of the county to the other is no more than an hour. You can walk four miles in a hour. If a friend of yours, four miles from you, were sick, would you hesitate to walk to their help if you could find no way of transportation? Your grandfather would not have hesitated. Today, in that length of time you can go to the help of any neighbor anywhere.
