Induction Ceremonies
At Courthouse Tomorrow
The ladies are all prepared to take over the town of Washington tomorrow, September 1.
Every dog has his day, and the men know that today, as the last day of August, marks the end of their peaceful inactivity. No doubt,, they shall revel in the luxury of their freedom for the few hours }eft and face September 1 bravely, prepared for tbe worse and knowing that it probably means work and worry.
Distinguished guests have accepted the invitations to be present Friday afternoon on the Courthouse Lawn at 4 o'clock when the induction ceremonies Will take place.
Following the ceremonies there will be a reception on the Courthouse Lawn for all the guests and visitors in the County, and a square dance at the school will .i>e the entertainment for the evening. ,
Congressman Burr P. Harrison will be on hand as master of cere■ monies, and the Hon. A. Willie Robertson has expressed a desire to be present if duties will permit it .
A speaker of the day will be Miss Catherine Falvey, an expert on international law and a member of Justice Jackson’s Neureraburg staff for the prosecution of war crimes in Germany following the wa*. A
