Our Mountain*

By Am Uwii Lite*?

People here preached patience and tolerance-, aince the world be. came a moving civilisation. - People say, “Take a lesson from the bees," patiently making hon,«y only to have it taken by greedy - humans:

People say, ‘‘Take a lesson from the ants," patiently building their sandy homes only to have them scattered by some thoughtless per* son.

These are good examples it Is true, but I have often wondered why someone hasn’t said “take a lesson from the mountains." Yea, a mountain, forever kneeling on the surface of the earth, forever looking down on the same scenes, forever bearing the - scare of man. . Does a small mountain have an inferiority complex at being insignificant or does it feel happy, and content; protected by larger mountains?
