Slate Mills HD. Club Met

' Mrs. J. B. Burke entertained the Slate Mills Home Demonstration club last Tuesday, December 12. This club as many other clubs in the county, decided to give a radio program some time during the month of June. As this is the month for gifts, Christmas trimmings, and party giving, the agent gave .some ideas on the above subjects. The demonstration given mainly emphasised “Wrapping Christmas Presents,” but a few ideas were given on how to make your own Christmas trimmings, and on party favor making. The $K>ste8s served delicious cake and cocoa. Her. decorations followed the Christmas line. ;■ v;
Sperryville Room Mothers
Hold Meeting Dec. 14
Mrs. W. H. Lyne was elected chairman’ of the membership drive for the P^T. A. at the meeting of the Sperryville school room mothers December 14. It was voted to give a prize of f2.S0 v- for the child getting the ipost members, and a popcicle party 4o the child’s room getting the highest percentage of parent members. The drive began Friday, December lb, and will continue until January 8. A motion was made and passed to call George Davis secretary of the P.-T.
