The Rappahannock County P.T.A. met at the Rappahannock High School on Monday, December 18 at 7:30 p.m.
C. E. Johnson president, called the meeting to order and the minutes of th|e last meeting were read and approved.
Mr. Johnson said that the general opinion of most people in the county had been that having one high school in the county might not work because:
(1) The children from the different schools might not get along together.
(2) The building was not suitable.
-. Johnson masked Mr. Wtnfrey to answer these questions. Mr. Winfrey called on the teachers present to give their opinions and he and all of the teachers agreed that the children had made the adjustment well, and that there had been very little friction among the children.
As to the building itself Mr. Winfrey took us on a tour of the school and let us see the inadequacy there.
