' Several days ago while discussing the approaching Christmas (with a friend, that friend remarked “I declare with all the strife in the world today it is nigh impossible for me to look forward to Christmas with any happiness or enthusiasm.”
This friend wasn’t about to give up yet I realized there were many other people who felt just like this friend. Just a short while afterward came a Christmas greeting from my State boss, the Director of the VPI Extension Service—a man I am proud to work under—a man I wish you all could know better.
