The Fodder Stack hon^. demonstration club met January 25 at the home of Mrs. John Eubank.' The subject of the meeting was ' hammered aluminum trays, and the women seemed to enjoy this ; demonstration very much. Some very lovely trays were completed at the meeting.
Mrs. Archie Bailey was hostess to the Gid Brown Hollow home demonstration club on Friday. The meeting was started off .with the (repeating of the Homemakers Creed. Then as this was the first meeting held iri this section, a short talk was given by the agent on what was being done in the; county in home demonstration work, and what being a home demonstration member means. Then a demonstration was given on how to stencil cloth by the agent, aided by Mrs. Mabel Racer, a home demonstration member of Washington. The pupils were very apt ones, proved by the fact that about 15 lovely stenciled articles were completed at this meeting. The hostess topped the meeting off with most delicious refreshments.
CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY ' Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr., of Flint Hill entertained Wednesday at dinner in honor of their f- son, Galley Smith III, who was celebrating his 15th birthday anniversary. Guests for the occasion were Jimmie Yates, Dudley Wood, Johnny Browning, Bobbie Massie, and Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Massie.
