these Betti* Funds, sent to Richmond our four-yeer pi eh for school improvements. This plen was reported to the County P.-T. , A. meeting at Washington on January 22. The plan calls for the building of a new high school for the county at Flat Woods. Since this is a matter of great importance to the whole county, the P.-T. A. grot p instructed the writer to select a committee of five to work on it. Of course the committee will not he an official group and can only make recommendations. Membership in the mittee was planned as follows:
1 member from Board of Supervisors, 1 member from School Board, 1 member from school teachers, .2 members from school patrons.
In accordance with instructions given me at the P. T. A. meeting, I have appointed the following committee, with you as temporary chairman: J. P. Cook, Member Board of Supervisors; J. Maurice O’Bannon, member School Board; H. B. Winfrey, Principal Rappahannock High School; Mrs. John Davis, and L. J. Kilby.
The members of this committee will receive a copy of this letter.
