$162.75 was taken in at the square dance Friday night, given for the March of Dimes. Expenses taken out were $32.55 federal tax, $32 music, and $5 for Willis Burke. $24.72 was made on the food sale, making a grand total of $117.92.

William Presley Hitt
William Presley Hitt of Amissville died Friday, January 27, at a nursing home in, Stafford county. Mr. Hitt had been in ill health for some time and was moved to the nursing home shortly before his death. - He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bessie Hitt, and a number of brothers and sisters. He was the son of James and Nellie Hitt of Rappahannock county. - ?
Graveside services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock, with the Rev. M. E. Sliger officiating. Interment was in the fast' ily cemetery.
