The response will measure the degree of* support the music festival may expect-and will help determine number of musicians to be employed for the August concerts as well as the size and arrangements of the building in which the concerts are to be given. Z__The county has been divided into two sections and a total goal of $1200 adopted and divided as follows: Washington and the nor* them part of the county, under* Mrs. D. D. Miller, $650; Sperryville and the southern end of the county under Rev. Paul Thompson, $450. The officers have assumed, a goal of $200. There was much enthusiasm shown at the meeting, . especially when Mrs. Miller reported anles of membership totalling $332. Membership fee of $3 entitles holder to attend three concerts. Students will pay half price. .

TW president of th^ organizetlon has appointed a committee , to locate suitable points between Massie’s Corner, and Panorama, where the concerts could be given, A search is being made for a location with the proper atmosphere, ample parking space and close to the Lee Highway, An old barn or mill with a possible seating capacity of several hundred would, be preferred. Suggestions are in- Vited and should be sent to the committee of whieh C. E. (Ned) Johnson, Jr., is chairman. Other members of the committee are the Rev, Dr. Pendleton, Rev.,. A. Paul. Thompson, and George H. Davis.

The last of a series of Mission Study classes, taught'by Mrs. Fred Schaefer, was held in the home of Mrs. Ennis Brown at SperryVille, on Friday evening. Those present were Mrs. Norman J. Flythe, Mrs. Mabel Lillard, Mis. Carpenter, Mrs. Marvin Bradford, of Flint Hill; Mrs. Floyd Compton, Mrs. Jessie Rowzie, Mrs. Charles G. Reid, Mr*. Ada Updike, and Mrs. OravRamey, of Washington; from Sperryville, besides the hostess were Mrs. George W. Brown, Mrs. Annie T. Bruce, Mrs. Joseph B. Johnlra,^ Mrs. • Virginia M.
