A meeting for final reports is to be held next Sunday afternoon at four-thirty at "Maple Springs" the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller. At that time the measure of support- that may be expected from the citizens of the county should be evident, and the direcv tors mill accordingly plan for the summer. It is hoped that much more than the minimum requirement of $600 will be reported and thus make it possible to launch this significant enterprise on more than a minimum scale.
The membership tickets costing $3, entitle the holder to three concerts during the summer. Only _ {high class, - thoroughly competent musicians are promised for these concerts.
The search for a suitable place in which to bold the concerts is still in progress. An old barn or mill close to the Lee Highway, between Massies Corner and Panorama, is the aim of the promoters.
Those who are interested and have not yet been canvassed may send their applications for reservations to S. E. Hening, president, or C. E.
