Pew people know of a grave-^ stone at the histroic Elwood House in Orange county, nestled amidst < * tangle of briars and clump of cedars, the stone marks the grave of Stonewall' Jackson’s, left arm. Jackson was wounded at the battle of ChanceUorsville May £,1863, his arm was amputated that night. It was about eight days later, he developed pneumonia and died.
Jackson at the time he was wounded was' 33 years of age.
