Billy Keyser Killed By
Auto Tuesday Afternoon
Graveside services will be held this afternoon, Thursday, at 3 o’clock at the Masonic cemetery, Washington, for Billy Keyser, 8, younger son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry M. (“Doug”) Keyser of Williamsburg.
Billy’s death occurred Tuesday afternoon, May 22, when he was struck by an automobile on a street in Williamsburg. The accident was termed unavoidable when the boy ran in front of a car driven by a girl student. He died a few minutes later at the hospital.
Besides his parents, the boy is survived by a brother, a graduate this session at Randolph-Macon Academy, Front Royal; his grandmother, Mrs. Will Keyser, and an uncle, Joe D. Keyser, of “Pleasant View.’’
Dr. W. G. Pendleton of Trinity church, Washington, and the Rev. Francis Craighill of Bruton Parish Church, Williamsburg, will officiate. Pallbearers will be T. C. Lea, W. A. Miller, Aubrey Keyser, Downing Wood, J. E. Keyser, and R. M. Menefee. Friends of the family will serve as honorary pallbearers.
