The following list of wild flowers is published for the benefit of garden club members. It is a list of wild flowers not to be used in monthly exhibits or flower shows.
It is generally known that one is not permitted to cut dogwood because it is the State flower, and the scarcity of holly would explain why it is not to be wantonly cut, but this list distributed by the garden club shows a number of flowers not to be cut.
