The Rer. John Adlterson

The pictures to be shown will include nature shots from deserts to mountain peaks, mud-huts with grass roofs, natives carrying burdens upon their heads., and many other interesting slides with full reports ot native life and Missionary activities on the Islands.

Mr. Adkerson is a graduate of Bob Jones University, Greenville, South Carolina, having received his B.A. Degree in Religious Education and English Bible. He has been active in Evangelistic work since his discharge from the United States Navy in 1946. He has worked extensively with Youth for Christ International and has been guest speaker for a number of large rallies. At present he is the director of the Shenandoah Valley Youth for Christ located in Luray, where he also serves as pastor of the Mt. Carmel Regular Baptist Church.

This service is conducted in the interest of both youths and adults and a cordial welcome is extended to all.

Attends Meeting

Mrs. Robert L. Massie attended the annual meeting of the Commissioners of Revenue, which was held in the John Marshall Hotel, Richmond, October 10 and 11. Mrs. Wade H. Massie Jr. and Mrs. Elizabeth DeBergh accompanied Mrs. Massie to Richmond. While there, Mrs. DeBergh was a guest of her schoolmate. Miss Helen French. The two Mrs. Massies remained at ‘the hotel.
