AUXILIARY MEETING OF AMISSVILLE FIRE COMPANY
The Ladies of the Volunteer Fire Department of Amissville held their regular monthly meeting last Wednesday at the temporary fire house.
Mrs. T. I. Martin, vice president of the Culpeper Ladies Auxiliary, was guest speaker, who made valuable suggestions for working out a program. Three new members were added to the membership. The Auxiliary planned to serve lunch at Palmer’s Merchantile Sale on Saturday, October 18.

The Purcellville Garden Club cordially invites the Rappahannock Garden Club to attend a lecture with slides on “Flower Arrangement in Colonial Williamsburg,” to be presented by Mrs. Louise B. Fisher of Williamsburg, Friday, October 24, at 2 p.m. in the Purcellville Library. • A silver offering will be taken and a tea will follow. It is hoped that as many members will take advantage of this opportunity as possible, since Mrs. Fisher is an authority in this field.
