Mrs. Maury W. Brown motored to Richmond on Saturday with her daughter, Mrs. Maurice Shirey and a party of friends from Front Royal and spent the weekend with M. W. Brown at McGuire Hospital. While the improvement of Mr. Brown is slow and steady, his condition is satisfactory.

Mrs. R. E. Wood and Miss Lucile Brown motored to Washington, D.C. on Monday with Robert W. Sealock, who returned to his position after recuperating from a back injury, which hospitalized him for ten days. Mrs. Wood also attended the funeral of Miss Lillian Reynolds in Alexandria.

Mrs. Helen Bruce and son and daughter, Francis and Miss Mary Helen Bruce, Mrs. Eddie Gore an'l two sons, Donald and Edward Gore spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. A.L. Smith at Gainesville.
