The election had been fun up until now. It’s getting entirely too serious. A fellow the other day turned to me a countenance of my-feelings-are-hurt just because my views on a political candidate didn’t agree with his. Now, his candidate is a fine man; nothing can he said against his character, but if I happen to prefer his opponent, that’s my business.
There would lie no fun at all if everyone agreed on the same candidate. ;
