6th grade—Dottie Sisk, George Davis HI, Judy Black, Buddy Devers, Sydney Graves. 7th grade—Elmer Foster, Dolly Smith, Audrey Pullen, Eugene Atkins, Ruth Jenkins, Holly Updike, Mildred Jenkins, J. W. Brown. Belle Meade—Walter B. Kilby, Rachel Deal. The program consisted of devotions, group singing of the SCA song, repeating of the SCA creed, objects, colors, emblem, etc. Reading and approval of the minutes of the March meeting. The various schools reported 100% SCA organizations witfcNp their respective schools, and ""some very worthwhile objectives were reported as the SCA goal of individual schools.
Dues were paid up 100%. for the 1952-53 session.
Banner requirements were discussed for the individual school and the county. Each delegate was asked to consult “The Virginia Bulletin Yearbook,” (July, 1951-June, 1952) to find out if his school is listed. Attention was called to the date of the March Council meeting to be held at Sperryville as well as the Warren - Rappahannock Division meeting to be held in Front Royal, probably in early April. The division meeting was held in Sperryville last year.
Article II, Section 1 of our constitution was amended to read as follows: “The officers shall be a president, a vice president, a secretary and a treasurer, who shall be elected annually by the SCA council at their March meeting and who shall take office at the beginning of the following school session. The president , shall not come from the same school in two succeeding years.” (Every school has a copy of our constitution. Please amend this article on your copy — Schools).
