To keep wood floors look* ing their level best be* tween washings, simply use a dry mon to remove dust particles. Be sure that the mop is oil-free if your floors are .waxed, for oil softens wax. When the woodwork is ready for a washing, use cold water and dry immediately. An occasional light waxing adds to the floor’s appearance. If you’re doing a large scale beautifying job, however, you may want to apply an oil finish instead.
