W. H. Jenkins returned to his * home Saturday after he underwent a major operation at the University Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. James Broyles, Mrs. Joe Fox and Mrs. W. H. Jenkins were shopping in Charlottesville on Saturday and returned home with their father, W. H. Jenkins, who has been a patient there for ten days.
James Broyles, who holds a position in Washington, D. C., spent the weekend with his family in Sperryville.
Guests during last week of Elder and Mrs. J. H. Daily were Miss Doris Elliott, of Griffin, Georgia, Miss Violet Williams and Miss Nella Clevenger of Findlay, Ohio. Other guests .over the weekend of Elder and Mrs. Daily were Elder and Mrs. J. E. Majors of Hyattsville, Maryland, Mrs. James Clark and Mrs. _ Harry Skidmon of Sykesville, Maryland, Mr. and Mrs. E. L. White and Robert Powell of Arlington, Mr. and Mrs. A.
