Political discussions are really getting torrid, but Rappahannock doesn’t seem to have an exclusive on the temper. A tourist entered an eating establishment along the road the other day, and, pleased with the service and food, went to the proprietor to tell him so.
After complimenting the place of business, for which the proprietor thanked him, the tourist asked “Aro you a native?”
“No," replied the proprietor of the inn, “I’m from Illinois.”
