BRIDGE PARTY Mrs. H. C. .Warwick and Mrs. R. V. Snead were joint hostesses for a bridge party at Rockbottom, the home of Capt. arid Mrs. H. O Warwick on Friday evening. Those playing were Mrs. John Davis and mother, Mrs. Alice McCracklin, Mrs. D. Lyle Miller, Mrs. Dike Quaintance, Mrs. Gene Wood, Mrs. H. B. Winfrey, Mrs. Zula Sealock, Mrs. C. H. H. Branch, Mrs. Carroll Menefee, Mrs. Thomas J. Pillar, Mrs. Charles Estes, Mrs. R. E. Thompson, Mrs. P. Lee Thornton, Mrs. I. R. Kilby, Mrs. George Taylor, Mrs. John P. Snead, Mrs. Wade H. Massie, Jr., Mrs. Elizabeth DeBergh, Mrs. Georgy Davis Jr., Mrs. B. M. Miller, Mrs. J. W. Price, Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Mrs. Lewis J. Turner, Mrs. Charles Bruce, Mrs. J. E. Keyser, Mrs. John R. DeBergh, and Mrs. D. D. Miller. After the game, prizes * were given to Mrs. H. B. Winfrey, high score; Mrs. R. E. Thompson, bingo; Mrs. McCracklin, traveling; and Mrs. D. D. Miller, consolation. Halloween decorations were carried out 7n decorations, refreshments and Halloween caps as facors were presented to each guest.

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Jenkins of Sperryville announce the engagement of their daughter, Florence Belle, to Ebb^Atkins Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Ebb Atkins of Woodville. No date has been set for the wedding.

Miss Jean Wright and Philip Brady of Marshall were married in the home of Elder and Mrs. J. H. Daily on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. Elder Daily officiated at the double ring ceremony.
