18-Pound Bob-Cat Rabid
Reports to the Game Warden and to the Health Department yesterday from the laboratory in Luray state that the bob-cat killed by Will Stevens Jenkins at his home Tuesday showed signs of rabies. The 18-pound viciously-infected cat had attacked Mrs. Jenkins and the animal was killed by her husband. In another report returned the same day, the laboratory stated that a red fox sent in for testing also showed positive signs of rabies.
