Mr. and Mrs» P. W. Scudere left Sunday for Florida where they will spend two weeks.

Mr. and Mrs. John R. DeBergh attended the point-to-point races at Upperville on Saturday and were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Mellon of "Oak Spring” for tea.

Mr. and Mrs. John R. DeBergh entertained Mr. and Mrsv W. L. Rochester Jr., Wade H. Massie III and W. F. Moffett Jr. at Red Fox Tavern at Middleburg for dinner on Saturday night.

Mr. and Mrs. Ashby Weaver of Cambria were recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Revercomb and Mr. and Mrs. Emett Hudson. Mayor Dorothy C. Davis attended the meeting of Virginia Society of Women Accountants, which was held at "Town House” in Richmond on Thursday night. Mrs. Davis was one of the .principal speakers of the evening. She spoke on “Women in Municipal Government” Miss Phyllis Verner, who is employed in Falls Church, is spending several days at her home this week.

Misses Marjorie Snead and Mary Miller Wood visited Misses Mary and Elizabeth Snead of Washington, D. C. on Sunday.

Col. and Mrs. Charles W. King of Ben Venue have returned to their home following a long period of recuperation from injuries received in an automobile accident.

Mr. and Mrs. Daniel A. Jacobs and Mr. and Mrs. Ivan F. Vannoy were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Walker B. Jenkins.

Miss Ruby Jenkins was a recent dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Glass at Jessamine Hill Farm.
