Two Are Injured
Ernest Nicholson and Mrs. Will Stevens Jenkins have painful reminders of vicious attacks by a wildcat late Monday night and early Tuesday morning.
Ernest Nicholson, some time during the night Monday, he doesn't know exactly what time, thought he heard something after the pigs. When he went out to investigate, he found nothing, but on his way back to* the house he felt a large animal jump on his back. He fought the animal, which bit him viciously through the arm and scratched him on the face and about the legs. He fought the animal off, but never got a good look at it in the dark.
Mr. Nicholson was treated by Dr. Snead early Tuesday morning and the size of the bites and cuts testified to the fact that a large animal had attacked him.
