Miss Betty Lewis Snead of Fairlax Hall is spending her spring vacation with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. John P. Snead.

Miss Ruth Menefee was a guest of friends in Washington, D. C for a few days last week.

Mrs. F. D. Coffey spent Sunday in Charlottesville .to be with Mr. Coffey Sr., who is a patient at the University hospital. His condition is slightly improved. ,

Miss Sarah Gore of Culpeper was a week-end guest of her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Gore, who also have as their guests this week, Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Partlo’w of Culpeper. •

Charles A. Ssk, who has been servng n Germany with the U. S. Army, has received his discharge and has returned to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert J. Sisk.

George Taylor, Carson Johnson and J. Rodes Brown Jr. attended a VFW meeting in Elkton Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Rodes Brown, Mrs. Rodes Brown Jr. and daughter, Susan visited Mrs. J. G. Brown Sunday.

Elder Harvey Daily preached ih the Old Baptist church in Front Royal on Sunday and with Mrs. Daily was a dinner guest of his brother-inlaw and sister, Mr. and Mrs. (Charles Stevens_i.... •
