Mt. Carmel Regular Baptist church of Luray is planning a special series of evangelistic meetings each night from April 5 through April 19 at 7:30 p.m. The speaker will be Evangelist Carl L. Harrigan, of Louisville, Kentucky, but has lived in Greenville for about six years while he completed his undergraduate work and received his Master’s degree from Bob Jones University, located in that city. Evangelist and Mrs. Harrigan plan to. go to the Mission field of Japan within the year. Mrs. Harrigan will receive her Bachelor’s degree this May also from Bob Jones University. Evangelist Harrigan has a vital, fervent and Biblical message with an appeal to all ages and classes. He. has spoken to a number of High School assemblies in the Shenandoah Valley in connection with a special series of meetings which were recently held in the New, Market Regular, Baptist church. The entire number of students hearing his message totalling over fifteen hundred, •Special music is planned for various nights during the meeting.
