Buy Baling Wire Early
Farmers are being urged to make early purchases of baling wire in order to assure ther supplies for the 1953 season. j._: -—
Manufacturer's say there will be enough for everyone if the purchases can be spread over several weeks ahead of the haying season.
There is not enough warehouse space to manufacture a whole year’s supply of baling wire in advance. Consequently, when the warehouses become full, resulting in a mill shutdown, the production is reduced. This has actually been the cause of baling wire shortages in some instances in recent years.
In order to avoid such an occurrence during 1953, all farmers are asked to buy baling wire early.
