Mrs. Anne Thompson, county federation goal chairman, gave a report of the progress made on our county goal “Citizenship.”__
Each club president gave report of their accomplishments in their H. D. clulb.
Miss Eva Minix, District agent, gave information on using the Outlook Material in program planning that the program development leaders can use in their H. D. club.
A, reseating clinic in renovating chairs was held Wednesday. The homemakers reseated both cane and splint seats with 6 seats being put in.
Four homemakers attended a Judg-~ ing School held in Winchester on Thursday. The ladies attending were! Mrs. Jessie Rowzie, and Mrs. B. W. Williams, judging foods; Mrs. L. B. Stuart in clothing and Mrs. Gilbert Updke participating in General Educational Exhibit judging. The purpose of any exhibits are to: ■ 1. To stimulate pride in homemaking and a_desire for community advancement and recqgnize worthy individuals and communities. / 2. To teach better standards and arouse interest in a special program on project.
3. To present new and useful information not widely known and stimulate actron on these improved practices.
The points to be remembered in preparing a good exhibit were:
1. Order, neatness, cleanliness.
2. Labels easily read, explanations brief.
3. Backgrounds in neutral colors.
