The little grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Harris, who drowned last week was buried last Wednesday.
Mrs. Julia Pullen received a letter from her son, Pfc. Franklin Pullen saying that he was to visit Japan while on a leave of absence. He is stationed in Korea.
Aubrey Campbell has been ill with the fhi but is out again.
Mr. and Mrs. Haim have moved from our community. M' rritt Greeley has recovered from his bout with the flu. He has returned to his duties at his store. Little Miss Evelyn Williams has been ill and has spent considerable time in the hospital.
The electric line on Chester Gap is being extended to the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Cameron.
Mrs. Bradley Williams attended the 4-H school for judges last week in Winchester.
The children who will participate in the coming Reager program to be presented on May 12 met several times this* past week in the home of Mrs. Bradley Williams.
