Miss Jean Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Netus H. Brown of Sperryville, received a' B. S. Degree from Madison College, in graduating exercises held Sunday afternoon June 5.
Miss Brown’s major field at Madison was Business Administration. She attended, college for 3 years, then for one year taught at Rappahannock County Hi g h School, in the business department, before returning to her college work.l

While at Madison, Miss Brown participated in the Young Women’s Christian Association, Business Club, International Relation Club, i and was i member of Pi, Kappa! Sigma Sorority.
After graduation her plans are to work as a secretary for the U. S. Atomic Energy Commission.

James Bettendorf w’as awarded a Master’s Degree in Education at’ commencement exercises~Tuesday at the Catholic University of America, Washington, D. C.
Mr. Bettendorf, who taught Social Studies in R.- C. H. S. last session, plans to teach philosophy of Education in a Junior College.
