Lloyd Monroe Atkins, retired farmer of Sperryville, died at his residence Saturday, May 21 after a brief illness.
Mr* Atkins, 78 years of age, wals the son of Kelly Atkins and Mrs. Eliza Atkins of Rappahanno<k County.
)He is survived by his wife, Martha Atkins; daughters, Mrs. Alvin Atkins, Mrs. Ashby Pullen, Mjss Sally Atkins and Mrs. Brook Dodson of Sperryville, Mrs. Virgie Atkins of Flint Hill; and one son, Lee Atkins of Sperryville; ony sister, Mrs. Ida Atkins of Linden; and two brothers, Herbert Atkins and Ashby Atkins of Sperry^ille ; 17 grandchildren.
Burial services were held Monday afternoon, May 23 at 2:30 in thei family section of the Sperry-, ville Cemetery. The Rev. Harold Thach conducted the last rites. Active pallbearers were Roy Atkins, Roy Leake, Cecil Atkins, Dollan Jenkins, Alson Atkins and Leonard Atkins.
