Mrs. Betty Power* entertained the Slate Mills H. D. club Thursday night. Mrs. Brice Biggers was added as a new member. The demonstration was on Spraying Flowers arid Collecting Materialfor Dried Arrangements.
A tour for 4-H’ers in the Farm and, Home electric project was made Wednesday. The first stop was the Northern Virginia Power kitchen where Mrs. Colleen Collett demonstrated the use of the various household appliances. From there George Allison, county agent of Page Co., directed the group to the farm of W. EX Wakeman. Mr*. Wakeman then showed a total of 32 electrical appliances in her home. Afterward, Mr. Wakeman explained the use of various electrical farm equipment including hay drying, electric milkers. The tour was completed with a weiner roast on the Skyline Drive.
